G.A. Engineering Acquired by Entrepreneur, Vikas Dabral

It has today been announced that G.A. Engineering (South East) Ltd has come under the new ownership of entrepreneur, Vikas Dabral in a Management Buy-In. This was much to the delight of owners Angelo and Susan Russo, who were advised by corporate finance boutique and business sales specialist the Camlee Group. The acquisition will allow the owners to pursue a well-earned retirement, while securing the future for G.A. Engineering and its employees.
 
Based in Essex, G.A. Engineering has been operated as a family run business for over 30 years, specializing in precision engineering, CNC milling and turning and mechanical assemblies across a diverse range of sectors. With a customer centric approach, the Company has developed a reputation for its exceptional quality of work within its industry.
 
Acquirer Vikas Dabral comes from an MBA background and has worked in the Finance Industry for the past twenty years, though also holds a degree in engineering and has a strong interest in the manufacturing sector. Vikas commented “I was looking for an investment that I could see real potential in. G.A. Engineering presented a fantastic opportunity for me to invest both my experience in growing and managing business, with my keen interest in engineering. I look forward to working with Angelo in the coming months and developing the business going forwards.”
 
Angelo, Managing Director of G.A. Engineering added “It was great to find a buyer that will be able to develop the business, while still providing the close personal management and attention to detail G.A. Engineering is renowned for. I look forward to seeing the business thrive in the future. Camlee were very supportive in the process and proactive in exploring a number of different options to bring the right buyer to the table.”
 
The transaction was led by Cameron Varley, Managing Director and Jessica Corporate Finance Executive at The Camlee Group. Cameron had this to say “We’re delighted to see this come to such a successful conclusion. There a were a number of routes available, but ultimately this was the one that made sense for the buyer, seller and the business. We wish Angelo, Susan, Vikas and the team at G.A. Engineering all the best for the future.”
 
The owners were also advised in the transaction by Tony Infantino of A Infantino & Accountancy Co. who has provided G.A. Engineering’s accountancy services for many years.
