The Camlee Group recently acted as lead adviser for its client, Livewire Integrated Services , which has been acquired by UK based investment acquirer, The Shilling Group.
 
Based in Surrey, Livewire was formed over 20 years ago to provide a flexible, reliable and cost-effective telecommunications engineering service. The company specialises in carrying out works across a diverse range of sectors giving an integrated one-shop solution to project management. The firm has a fully qualified engineering workforce that provide solutions across telephony services, data cabling and electrical installations.
 
Kevin Carter at the Shilling Group led the transaction for the buyer, bringing Livewire into the growing Shilling portfolio to complement its previous acquisitions in the engineering sector. Philip Nicholas, Managing Director of Livewire will remain in his current role, assisting with the transition to the new ownership.
 
Philip was advised by Managing Director, Cameron Varley from the Camlee Group, who added “We couldn’t be more pleased to facilitate a deal that achieves Philips objectives and ensures the future success of the company and its staff”.
